Larchwood Farms

Larchwood Farms is located in Trout Creek, Montana.  They are a small family business established in 1986, now in their 22nd year in business. 

Larchwood Farm’s mission is to provide the very best quality of wild, all natural huckleberry products at affordable prices and good service. Their pride, care, and love for the wild Montana Huckleberry is what has kept  them in business

The entire family cooks the products themselves, one batch at a time, fourteen jars.  You cannot retain that fresh wild taste that huckleberry lovers love, cooking in large quantities. It would become like grocery jams. 

With all the health concerns, they have decided to add products made with organic evaporated cane sugar.  For years they have made all fruit jam, jelly and syrup with only fruit concentrate, no artificial sweeteners or preservatives.  They also guarantee it is only made with 100% pure wild Montana huckleberries. 

They are picked in the Kootenai National Forest in the scenic beautiful northwest Montana.  The wild harvesting of the berries provides the locals with much needed income.  These wild huckleberries are not only sought after by bears but are a delicacy offered by the gallon along the roadside for $80 a gallon.  It is their Montana Purple Gold.
